Edwin Jon ‘EJ’ Rodriguez

As College Success Associate, EJ provides support for College Fellows to excel in their post-secondary endeavors via check-ins. Additionally, he serves as a strategic partnerships lead and operations liaison to support college matriculation and organize logistics for impactful programming events. Edwin Jon joins OppNet from the NCC NYGEAR UP initiative, where he utilized academic mentoring to increase postsecondary success among two consecutive cohorts. Previously, he worked in intern roles for the NYC Office of the Public Advocate and the NYS Assembly. His advocacy interests revolving around transformative justice, economic development and education reform guides his work with BIPOC youth.

EJ earned his B.S. at CUNY Baruch College.
