Joseph Parziale

Joe supports the Student Services & Program Operations team in developing and stabilizing outreach, recruitment, and programmatic goals for OppNet's Fellows program's borough-based expansion. He focuses primarily on research and outreach to prospective new partners in New York City's boroughs and integrating these partners into the Fellows program model. In addition, he helps actualize partnerships, providing on-site support for administration, facilitation, and operations for new borough partner sites.

Joe is a born and raised Brooklynite who comes from a background in science communication. He attended the Macaulay Honors College at Brooklyn College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. As a college student, he interned at BioBus, where he later worked full-time and gained a passion for bringing resources to underserved communities in New York City.
