Beatrice Calderon

As Operations Manager, Beatrice is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office to ensure the efficient functioning, safety, and professionalism of OppNet’s office by overseeing the physical space, enforcing policies, and creating a welcoming environment for OppNet staff, Fellows, and other stakeholders.

Prior to joining OppNet, Beatrice worked at Housing Works as the Asset Protection Manager for their thrift shops, warehouse and Bookstore Cafe. Prior to working in the non-profit sector Beatrice worked as a loss prevention analyst for several retailers. She received a BA in Forensic Psychology and MS in Protection Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
