Kaljah Adams

As the College Guidance and Transition Coordinator, Kaljah provides one-on-one counseling to fellows through all aspects of the college application process, while also delivering strategic administrative support to the CGT team. Kaljah's journey with OppNet began when she joined the OppNet 2017 cohort. Previously, Kaljah served as a College Advisor at Frederick Douglass Academy III through the NYU College Advising Corps program where she built new initiatives to strengthen the school's college-going culture, increase FAFSA submission rates, and boost parent engagement. Kaljah holds a M.A in Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy from NYU and a B.A in Sociology from Dickinson College. She is also working to obtain her certification in resume writing from ACRW.
