Joyce’Alyn "Joy" Payne is a 2017 OppNet Alum. She is a Creative Content Producer at Lawline, where she began working in 2018 as a video producer. Prior to her time at Lawline, Joy worked in various entertainment and sports business roles, including with the New York Yankees in sales, and at A+E Networks in marketing. Joy holds a bachelor’s degree in television and video production, and broadcast journalism from SUNY Plattsburgh. She holds a master’s degree in sports management from St. John’s University.

Why she joined the ALC: I joined the ALC to reconnect with OppNet and give back to a community that gave me so much. As I began to think about my contributions, I realized I wanted to help fellow Alums who may be in need of continued support and development.
How she's managing to navigate this virtual reality: Working in a virtual environment has allowed me the opportunity to work, travel, and explore. More importantly, virtual reality has forced me to be intentional about my time online and how to best utilize screen time.
