Shun Ping Huang is a 2017 OppNet Alum. Shun Ping Huang is an Operational Risk Analyst for Private Client Wealth at AllianceBernstein. Her responsibilities include assessing, identifying, and limiting risk in processes and operations. Prior to her role in risk, she spent more than four years as an Associate Portfolio Manager in Private Client Equity, implementing portfolio initiatives within private client accounts.Shun Ping graduated from Babson College in May 2017 with a BA in Finance and held internships at Brown Brothers Harriman, J.P. Morgan, and Marsh & McLennan Companies. Shun Ping was born and raised in Manhattan, but currently lives in Brooklyn. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, reading crime novels, and hunting down the best food spots.

Why she joined the ALC: I joined the ALC because I am passionate about OppNet’s mission and want to build our alumni community through planning events.
How she's managing to navigate this virtual reality: I believe one of the good things from COVID is the virtual reality that allows many people to work from home, decreasing environmental impact, increasing efficiency, and expanding the diversity of people in one’s network as we are no longer limited to in-person meetings and events. Virtual reality can not replace in-person connections, but it comes really close and has many benefits.
