Jacques Anderson is the Co-founder and Chief of Staff at DUOS, a healthcare innovation platform. Previously, Jacques was Legal Counsel at The Players’ Tribune, a one-of-a-kind media platform founded by Derek Jeter that enables athletes to connect directly with their fans. Prior to that, Jacques was an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. There, she represented domestic and international clients in public and private mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other transformational corporate transactions in the private equity, financial institution/banking, technology, insurance, communications, pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetic/beauty, and manufacturing industries.
Jacques has also held several internships, including as a 1L Scholar and Summer Associate at Skadden, intern for Member of Parliament Labour Party Candidate Howard Dawber in the U.K., and intern in the City of East St. Louis’ Mayor’s Office, among other positions. In addition to OppNet, Jacques serves as an advisor for L.I.V.E., a community-based entrepreneurship program held at the Harlem Dream Center. Jacques earned a BS in Political Science and Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her JD from Harvard Law School.
