Katherine Hanson

As Director of Research, Evaluation, and Actionable Insights, Katherine co-leads the strategic direction of the department, oversees data collection, management, and reporting systems across the organization and its Programs, oversees the organization’s learning & research agenda, and manages other efforts that support OppNet’s data-driven culture. Prior to joining OppNet in 2016, Katherine spent three years teaching 8th grade Math in Northern Kentucky. Katherine holds an M.A. in Education Policy & Social Analysis from Teachers College at Columbia University and a B.A. in English from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
